What happened to GoAnimate?
On June 30, 2019, support and services ended for GoAnimate for Schools. GoAnimate for Schools was built on older technology (Flash) that will no longer be supported by all major browsers beginning in 2020.

Vyond was founded as GoAnimate in 2007 by Alvin Hung, and the first version of GoAnimate went live in mid-2008. In May 2009, DomoAnimate was launched. This program allowed users to create GoAnimations based on the Domo shorts.

The new preview panel allows you to do just that. You can now differentiate between static and animated character actions, character expressions, character actions, effects, props, and backgrounds by previewing the animation before adding an asset to your video.

July 26, 2016: Comedy World and the other non-business themes were retired on GoAnimate/Vyond4Schools website. However, they were still retrievable via Requestly on both sites. January 9, 2017: Prior to this date, it was noted that the character creators were still on the website, and on this day, they were removed.
