Is it bad to bind your chest?
Wearing binders that are too tight can cause underlying tissue and muscle damage, prevent free movement, and even restrict a person’s ability to breathe. There haven’t been many studies about the health effects of binding, so it’s important to listen to experiences of others, and to talk to your healthcare provider.
What age can you start hormone blockers?
Puberty blockers cannot be used until after puberty has started, so at least Sexual Maturity Rating stage 2. In the early stages of puberty, hormonally one will see LH rise followed by rise in estradiol and/or testosterone.
Can you drink after top surgery?
Zemmel generally advises patients to avoid alcohol for at least one to two weeks after surgery—and only after you have finished taking your pain medications. Puberty blockers allow patients more time to solidify their gender identity, without developing secondary sex characteristics. If a child later decides not to transition to another gender the medication can be stopped, allowing puberty to proceed, as the effects are fully reversible.

Binding improperly or for too long can lead to chest and back pain. It is safest and most common to bind using a dedicated binder, an article of clothing designed specifically for this purpose.
Can you start testosterone at 14?
Doctors can prescribe estrogen or testosterone at gradually higher amounts to mimic the puberty of the female or male gender. The Endocrine Society recommends that kids start taking these hormones around age 16, but doctors will start them as early as 13 or 14.
Does sleeping without a bra help them grow?

Do not drive until you are no longer taking any pain medications (narcotics). Do not drive until you have full range of motion with your arms. No heavy lifting for 4-6 weeks (this is determined by your surgeon). Return to work when you feel well enough — 1 or 2 days after surgery or 2 weeks, depending on type of job.
