Is Twisted Treeline gone?
It’s not news for League fans that Twisted Treeline will be getting removed, but now the date is set. Riot Games announced the game mode was getting pulled from the rotation so they can focus on larger and more played game modes, such as the classic 5v5 Summoner’s Rift.
When did they take out Twisted Treeline?
Patch 9.22, which is now live in League, is the last patch of Twisted Treeline. Once the preseason hits the servers with numerous gameplay changes prepared for Summoner’s Rift, Twisted Treeline will be gone from the client. Season nine of League concludes on Nov. 19 and that will be the end of Twisted Treeline, too.
What happened to LoL 3v3?
The game’s 3v3 mode is going to be removed by the end of the year, and while getting gold or higher in the game mode will still reward you with a Victorious skin, it will no longer award a separate chroma skin. At least other game modes will live on in place of Twisted Treeline.
