Does UC use common app?
Many institutions use the Common Application service as part of their admissions process. UC Merced students that are applying to institutions that require the Common Application will be required to provide information about their academic record to the application.

In the first part of the UC application, you’re asked to list general information about yourself. This includes what term you intend on enrolling in, whether you are applying as a freshman or transfer student, your contact information, your residency status, and your citizenship status.
