Is 5200 waterproof?

How do I keep my 3M 5200 from drying out?
Yup… I freeze the sealant in a plastic zip lock bag and it stays pliable when it thaws out. If you can vacuum seal it, it would be better, but not necessary. If you put a hole in the side since the nozzle is clogged, put a piece of tape over the hole to minimize the amount that hardens.
Does 3M 5200 bond to glass?

Can you use 3M 5200 on aluminum?
Thermal expansion is the reason for flexibility No matter how strong the joint, if it is continually being put under stress every time the aluminium gets hot or cold, then the joint will fail. If it’s not in the sun you may get away with it, but 3M 5200 is the way to go.
Will 3M 5200 adhere to stainless steel?
